The green shoots of recovery - or are they "green seeds"?

 The classic British summer held off to provide us all with a taste of sunshine - lifting all of our moods and those of our customers.....but you know what they say, "one swallow does not a summer make"......






Seeing business activity picking up, has always been the touchstone of any recovery - and thinking positively is as an important contributor to any sustained business recovery, from what is, by far, the longest and deepest recession for a generation........



And now we are seeing if not green shoots, maybe green seeds, what do we hear form commentators - skills shortages and a lack of trained personnel. You only have to look at the offshore wind turbine industry to se what the implications are. And lets not forget, a lot of skills have simply been lost either through time served people retiring or because of a lack of government will and backing.



But.....we are positive here and always have been!! - and consider this: investing in additional skills and qualifications can only enhance your chances of not only winning business but actually increasing your profitability.



The message is clear then - Be prepared, get trained and get qualified and be ready to do business!
